The company

Brevini Power Transmission – which was established in 1960 in Reggio Emilia, where its headquarters are still located -- is one of the European leaders in the field of power transmission. Its complete range of products includes everything from planetary gear units to in-line and right-angle gearboxes, speed variators, and winches.

4 product lines
The organization, in line with its mission to supply complete power transmission solutions to industrial clients in any application sector and around the world, is divided into 4 product lines:
Brevini Riduttori: the line of planetary gear units for industrial applications and mobile machines. It is the flagship of the division and now one of the leaders in Europe.
PIV Drives: parallel and right-angle shaft gear units and speed variators. The German company acquired in 2002, with a 60,000 square meter factory near Frankfurt, is a strategic presence on the German market.
Brevini Winches: the line of hoisting and recovery systems that has doubled its market share over the past three decades.
Piv Posiplan: the new line of ultra-compact gear units for shaft-mounted industrial applications.
